ICIES'2022 Special Session

As a leading role in the global megatrend of scientific innovation, Morocco has been creating a more and more open environment for scientific innovation, increasing the depth and breadth of academic cooperation, and building a community of innovation that benefits all. These endeavors have made new contributions to globalization and created a community of shared future.

To adapt to this changing world and Morocco’s fast development in this new era, this special session of the International Conference on Innovation and Modern Applied Science in Environmental Studies is to be held in July 2022. Organized jointly by Abdelmalek Essaadi University and the Association of Scientific Research and Doctoral Studies (ARSED), this conference takes “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest” (Benjamin Franklin) as the theme and focuses on cutting-edge research fields including information technology, Education, Artificial intelligence, Environmental Engineering, Green Architecture, Sustainable Energy, Environmental Planning and Environmental Education, big data, new energy, and new materials. This special session aims to expand channels of international academic exchange in science and education, build a sharing platform of academic resources, promote scientific innovation on the global scale, improve academic cooperation between Morocco and the outside world, enhance the development of new materials and strategies. It also aims to encourage the exchange of information on research in different fields, connect the most advanced academic resources in Morocco and abroad, turn research results into industrial solutions, bring together talents, technologies, and capital to boost development.

I. Objectives

1) Creating an academic exchange platform for high-level talents;

2) Boosting the development of academic disciplines, academic exchange, and scientific research;

3) Spreading information of research frontiers and encouraging sharing of research achievements;

4) Advancing high-level cooperation among industries, universities, and research institutions.

II. Special Session Details

Date: 22.07.2022 - 23.07.2022

Venue: Abdelmalek Essaadi University, Faculty of Science and Technology, Tangier, Morocco.

Theme: bringing together global wisdom in scientific innovation and modern applied science to promote high-quality development with regard to the field of Environmental Science and Education.

Participants: Overseas talents: academicians, university professors and research experts from all around the world, entrepreneurs from high-and-new enterprises from different countries, managers and technical experts from well-known enterprises, top talents from universities, research institutions, tech companies and investment firms, overseas participants having achieved master’s degrees or above, international students with master’s degree or above in Morocco, high-level professionals from abroad, and more.

Moroccan representatives: government officials, delegates from provinces, universities and research institutions in Morocco, representatives from industry associations and societies and business companies; special guests, well-known entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars; representatives from mainstream technology and finance media, and more.
